Welcome to Shalom Boutique Lodge & Hunting Safaris. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making any bookings or using our services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
● All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or through our official booking channels.
● A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Full payment details will be provided at the time of booking.
● Reservations are subject to availability and will be confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit.
● Special Dietary Requirements – to be added during booking process
● Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as agreed.
● Full payment must be received before the commencement of your stay or safari.
● Failure to make full payment on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.
● Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
● Cancellation fees may apply as follows:
○ More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund of deposit minus a processing fee.
○ Between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value.
○ Less than 14 days before arrival: No refund.
● No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
● Any amendments to bookings must be requested in writing.
● Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
● We reserve the right to decline amendment requests if they conflict with operational requirements.
● Guests are responsible for their own health and fitness to participate in safaris and other activities.
● It is advisable to consult your doctor prior to travel if you have any health concerns.
● Guests must adhere to all safety instructions provided by Shalom Boutique Lodge & Hunting Safaris staff.
● Shalom Boutique Lodge & Hunting Safaris, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, accident, death, or damage to property incurred during your stay or safari.
● Guests participate at their own risk and are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, and loss or theft.
● We expect all guests to respect the environment, wildlife, staff, and other guests.
● Any disruptive or unlawful behaviour may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
● Guests are responsible for any damage caused to lodge property or equipment.
Shalom Boutique Lodge & Hunting Safaris shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
We may take photographs or videos during your stay for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in writing prior to your arrival.
● Personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing services and managing your reservation.
● We comply with applicable data protection laws and will not share your information with third parties without your consent.
● These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
● Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
